Performance Evaluation of Newly Designed Disposable Surgical Gowns

Surgical gowns are used as protective clothing in operating room for medical personnel and patients to minimize the transmission of viruses pathogens designed serve a barrier against non-sterile area reduce risk infections. In this study, since disposable provide better effect compared reusable ones, surgical using nonwoven fabric membrane-nonwoven combination were investigated terms their performance characteristics thermal comfort properties. Functional properties produced such tensile strength, tear resistance water penetration, air permeability, properties, vapor permeability tested statistically evaluated.
